At Amerikick Martial Arts, we are a team of experts in various martial arts, and in yoga. We are interested in helping people of all ages to get more out of life, and we believe it can be done through learning martial arts.

Our Experience

It has been our own experience that we have benefited in many ways through the learning of the arts, and we know that you can benefit from them, too. The benefits are for people of any age, as long as they are able to actively participate in the classes. These benefits aid in the development of the body, the mind, and of the soul.

The Benefits

One of the greatest benefits is that of better health. You will feel better, be healthier, and stronger if you practice martial arts regularly. By working to create a healthier you, you lose weight, get fit, and help yourself to have a greater resistance to some serious diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.

You will also get other benefits that will help you in all areas of life. This includes a greater self-discipline, a better self-image, and increased stamina. You will know how and be willing to go against opposition (emotional, mental, or physical) when it comes.

Developing a better focus, which will come quickly, will help students to get better grades in school; and employees, as well as bosses, will be more focused at work. This will enable you to get more done and to do it better and faster.

Self-Defense

We realize that some people are more interested in getting fit than they are in self-defense. Still, it will enable you to be ready in the event you should be attacked, depending on which classes you take. Of course, the higher the level you attain, the better prepared you become. Our experts know many styles of martial arts, giving you a wide choice.

Safety

We emphasize safety in all our classes. We also teach that our students should aim for peace and never use their skills outside of the classroom, unless the situation demands action. We use gloves, mitts, and other protective gear in the classrooms. Each class is well supervised to ensure that everyone is working and practicing safely.

Young People

For the young kids in any of our programs, we aim to insure that they are properly protected and are doing the moves correctly. We care for kids and want to see them advance in martial arts skills and in life skills. We seek to provide much positive reinforcement in the classroom for all students and to encourage them to keep going. We also aim to make it fun and varied to keep their interest.

It is our goal to help everyone that comes to our classes to benefit and become a better person. At Amerikick Martial Arts, we have much to teach that can help each person on that journey. We invite you to talk to our instructors and learn more about what we have to offer to you and your family.
